This eye-catching 17 inch Onyx Blue Metallic laptop has been redesigned with new half-pipe casing and Toshiba imprint on the lid. It’s powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 1.66GHz processor, 1024MB of DDR2 RAM and the hard drive has a capacity of 80GB.The Media Satellite comes with Windows Vista, the new updated Windows Operating System. Vista is faster, safer and more efficient, if you haven’t tried it out yet then it’s definitely worth a look.
You also get great 3D graphics performance from the Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100. This VGA card has 256-bit graphics core running at 400MHz producing high quality graphics, suitable for both corporate and consumer needs.
The sound quality is crisp and clear, thanks to the Harman Kardon speakers and onboard Sound Card Speaker with 5.1 High Definition. Its not often you get good quality sound from a notebook, but the quality from the Media Satellite is noticeably better than most.
Some other features of the Media Satellite include Intel PRO/Wireless (802.11a/b/g), the built-in Ethernet Controller and Fax/Data Modem Sound, Integrated Sound Card Speaker with 5.1 High Definition, 4x USB 2.0 Ports and Firewire and the 17 inch TruBrite Wide Screen (1400 x 900) XGA. Plus this model comes with a carry case to transport your notebook around with less worry.
