Powerful Network Security Camera with Live Video Feeds Streaming to Any Computer or Internet Web Camera

NetCam XL - Rugged Design, Beautiful Results
With images up to 2048×1536 in resolution, the new NetCam XL 3MP is the highest quality network camera on the market. Using a 3.1 megapixel sensor, the NetCam XL 3MP is the perfect tool for web attraction, weather monitoring or high definition security camera.
Bring on the cold! NetCam XL can withstand temperatures down to -40° degrees without a heater.
The NetCam XL is the latest generation in the popular NetCam series of network cameras. Designed for both indoor and rugged outdoor installations, the NetCam XL streams video and produces some of the highest quality images found in a network camera.
No computer is required to operate the NetCam XL — it is a standalone solution that can connect to a local network, DSL, cable modem, satellite modem, cellular, wireless Ethernet or even a phone line. You simply browse to its IP address to view live video and access configuration options. Set up is straightforward and simple and NetCam XL is designed to run unattended for years on end.
Three Network Camera Choices
StarDot offers three different resolution NetCam XL models. All models support industry standard auto iris lenses and full screen, wide screen and portrait viewing modes, as well as complete control over image resolution, image quality and bandwidth consumption. The NetCam XL 3 Megapixel supports both 720P and 1080P HD resolutions (high definition).
View Video Feed From Any Computer
NetCam XL is an IP-addressable device, which means it’s possible to view it from anywhere on the Internet. Or you if you only want to view on your local network or password protect it, you also have that option.
What good is a network camera if you cannot view it? NetCam XL was designed with open standards so the live video and images can be viewed from virtually any web browser on any operating system. This includes Windows, Mac, Linux/UNIX as well as many phones and PDA’s.

Simple and Powerful Camera
You don’t have to be a geek to configure and use NetCam XL — we’ve simplified the set up process and viewing the camera is as simple as typing an IP address in your web browser. If for any reason you do have questions, technical support is a phone call away.
If you’re the type of person who likes to get under the hood, NetCam XL offers a lot. The NetCam XL is essentially a computer with an embedded high resolution camera. It runs the popular uClinux OS and is full of open source and open standards. NetCam XL can be customized for any application.
NetCam XL Image Gallery
The following images are from StarDot NetCam XL 3 Megapixel and 1.3 Megapixel cameras. NetCam XL produces the highest quality webcam images in the industry. To produce images of this quality it is important to note that image composition, lighting conditions, and camera settings must be taken into consideration. Advice on how you can achieve the highest quality images from NetCam XL is available free from the internet.
Unlike other network cameras, NetCam XL is a digital camera in the truest sense — it does not employ an “off the shelf” imaging chip set. NetCam XL uses high end frame transfer CCD and CMOS sensors from Sony, Sharp and Micron — it does not use field transfer CCD’s that cause motion tear and it does not use inferior quality CMOS sensors. Secondly, sophisticated image enhancement hardware and software is embedded in NetCam XL to produce crisp images with excellent color and contrast. Take a look at the images below and we think you’ll see why the NetCam XL 1.3 Megapixel and 3 Megapixel produce the best images in the industry (note: the images below are straight out of StarDot customer’s NetCam XL cameras — they have not been enhanced in any way).
